Queer Friendships EOI

This project explores queer friendships, connection, care, intimacy, and how these relationships are experienced and expressed.

This is an expression of interest form, not a confirmed booking. Places are limited, and selected participants will have their photoshoot timeslot confirmed by 1 June.

There are no right or wrong answers. You don’t have to answer everything. Your responses simply help me understand your friendship, what you’re comfortable with, and how to create a thoughtful mix of participants across the project.

Please read the FAQ page before submitting your EOI. It includes more information about the photoshoot, accessibility, image use, model release form and what to expect.

What to expect
  • Photoshoots last approximately 20 minutes. It’s a small, calm session with a simple studio-style setup.
  • A model release form will be required so the images can be used for the project, promotion and future exhibitions.
  • Each selected group will receive one edited digital image within 2 weeks for personal use.
Accessibility

I aim to make this project as accessible and comfortable as possible. You are welcome to bring a support person, take breaks, or let me know what would help you feel more at ease.

Please note that the Qtopia Sydney Workshop Hub is only accessible by stairs. If this makes the June sessions inaccessible for you, you’re still very welcome to submit an EOI and leave the June dates unticked. I’ll invite you to a wheelchair accessible photoshoot planned for August.
